This is what I know from experience. Many shippers load when ever they are open. A meat packing house is taking...

At least get 'em off the interstate highways until, say, about 11pm when there is usually very light traffic. Even when the interstates are traffic jammed with cars, pickup trucks, and SUV's, it...

You seem to be noticing that the way you drive doesn't seem to be making a difference on the behavior of others. Congratulations. If I am driving down the Interstate and notice an RV that is hogging the left lane- or a BMW for that matter, and I (who drive in the right lane unless pbutting) come upon slower traffic, I will make a judgment call. It goes something like this: can I pbutt the slower traffic and not disturb the left lane hog? I'll go for it. Can I pbutt the slower traffic and maybe the left lane hog will need to back off or maybe kill cruise and coast a few seconds? I might go for it depending on traffic, terrain or a half dozen other factors. Is the left lane hog going fast enough that I can kill the cruise and make my pbutt after l.l.h. pbuttes me? Usually.

Now if the left lane hog comes up alongside and honks, gesticulates, shakes his cell phone or otherwise acts infantile, there may be any number of other vehicles within CB range who will make his progress seem futile. That probably isn't a winning strategy.

True, we are unaccustomed to RV's that go with the flow of traffic.

As I mentioned in our earlier diatribe. I think the big culprit here is the split speed limit. I suggest you write the transportation department and-or legislators in the applicable states. Tell them it's unsafe. We agree.

Best wishes. . . .Jim
