rude drivers nope. rude TRUCKERS... 1954
This is what I know from experience. Many shippers load when ever they are open. A meat packing house is taking raw materials in one end and...

Brian Smith I haven't seen them hitting cars, but I have seen them pretty far out...

Shippers & receivers load-unload during normal hours. It'd be a heck of a sleep pattern (something that all the new regs are trying to accomplish) for drivers. Now, if you can convince the shippers & receivers to work the crappy hours that you're recommended we work, I'd be all for it!

Great idea! Let's get the trucks of the highways & increase the amount of taxes for the four wheelers by..oh...something like 10 fold to help recover enough tax dollars to keep building new roads

Amazing how many states-cities are increasing lanes by reducing lane widths, isn't it!

A little knowledge about the subject goes along way, "micropbutting" is usually a result of computer limited speed on trucks.

I can testify here!

I was coming through Knoxville in the rain awhile back & wanted to change lanes. I checked my mirrors, turned on the turnlight... & then started to change lanes. SURPRISE!!! There was a pickup back by my rear tandems, in all the road spray from the rain, WITHOUT any headlights on as required by law. I swerve back, let him by, changed lanes. I flashed my lights on & off to help him realize his own stupidity & maybe save his life. He SLAMS on the brakes in front of me.

Just another day on the road with the "there's no one on the road but me" fourwheelers!

Looks like you never studied the law of physics

Funny, guess you've never traveled, oh say.....states like Michigan, where the speed limit difference is 15 mph by law. Maybe you'd make a great advocate for trucks by helping do away with the split speed limits!

Maybe you need to leave a little earlier & not be in such a rush?

I'm all for this, unfortunately these "trucks" you speak of are generally YOUR local rock haulers helping to build better roads.

Perhaps if just a handful of you could be more aware of your surroundings & not drive with such tunnel vision & aren't always in the "headupthebutt" mode, the highways would be far safer! You'd notice those unfortunate situations well before you run over them & you wouldn't have to make that rest defying swerve into the lane that I've moved into way back up the road when I noticed it.

That works great! You jump on the highway making a 90 degree left turn maneuver crossing 3+ lanes of traffic missing my front bumper by a nana-fraction to get to the inside lane just to go up one exit & do a 90 degree right turn off the ramp. But why should things be any different then they are now?

LMAO...... you're not even a good troll!

As long as you're there "late night-early morning hours of the day" to load &-or unload me, I'm all for it. Not having to deal with the "it's all about me" four wheelers such as yourself & just the early morning drunks makes my job a whole lot safer & easier!
