s being overtaken 72

Similar thing happened to me yesterday, 2 lane motorway and a snail of lorries at 56 mph together with a line of mostly repmobiles trying unsucessfully to exceed the speed limit in the outer lane. I'm in this procession keeping my two second gap, Mr important is right behind me at what appears to be microns from the rear of my van repeated full laser makes no difference as I've no where to go unless I want to drive under a 44 tonne semi trailer, there comes a space in between the trucks, its about 2-3 truck lengths above the normal distance, more laser then he undertook me shot past then swerved out from the truck in his path causing me to brake quite heavily to let him back in. Arsehole I thought, then promptly dropped back to my 2 second gap, then for no reason I could acertain, he braked heavily I had to react quickly to avoid a collision, as did those following me. Then he accellerated away back to normal speed. Well as things go, the traffic started to back up, conditions changed and I elected to enter the N-s lane, now we are in stop start conditions and as luck would have it I found I was driving alongside this middle aged man who appeared to be a rep. He started to give obscene gestures and my pbuttenger replied in kind, specifically he seemed to become enraged by the international sign for 'wanker' this caused much gesticulation, meanwhile we were laughing, very obviously, this only served to enrage him more, however as things happen we started to leave him behind because our lane was the more rapid, shortly the traffic started to move properly again and an opportunity came to change lanes. Lo and behold the car coming up when I pulled out was him, I had indicated correctly and there was more than sufficient empty road in front of him, he dropped a couple of gears and tried to make me pull back in by driving up my outside, I had already changed lanes and was running in tandem with a car on my near side when I noticed he was driving on the margin, outside me, two wheels on the grbutt trying to cut me in, god knows where he expected me to go, the near side was blocked so I just kept on in my lane, refusing to cut in towards the guy on my nearside and after 20 seconds or so it was apparant he wasn't going to give way but by this time neither was I he really was peeing me off so I gently started steering towards the central reservation, now it was no contest, a cheap van against an expensive repmobile and a steel road divider, he had to brake. Anyway he tailed me microns from my bumper for another 10 miles or so giving it much laser when yet again the traffic backed up and I moved into the nearside he pulled in front of me and braked violently to a near standstill, with predictable results to all traffic, then sped off only to repeat the process two more times before he rejoined the 'fast 'lane. Phew we said, what a nutter. Then we come to the next services which is a fuel stop for me, as I'm fuelling I look over and on the other side is Mr important, he saw me gave me a filthy look, then got in his Audi and sped off.
