Is the wrong answer. If the cyclist rides further out (in accordance with Effective Cycling recommendations) the drivers mainly get the hint. If you ride inches from the kerb you give drivers the false impression that your distance from the kerb is the measure of how much clearance you need. In New Zealand, as I remember, there is a legal minimum pbutting clearance for cyclists of 1.5m (about 5ft).
I repeat: there is not room to pbutt safely within the lane. The fact that you don't believe this is a failing of yours, not of the cyclists.
Got it in one. And in my country at least the law agrees - the Highway Code has numerous rules requiring drivers to give cyclists, motorcyclists, pedestrians and horse-riders plenty of room.
I am not in the least surprised - you sound like a typical speedophile.
To repeat an earlier question you failed to answer, do you skim past horses as well?
