Uh no, it isn't. I hit 40 mph everyday on my bike in a 35 mph zone.
You have your opinion and I and many other bicyclists have ours. You may be perfectly happy in your bicyclist containment area, but some of us would rather not be "given" such wonderful space.
I think you are more annoyed at those bicyclists because they don't conform to your vision of lock step and barrel rather than that they actually consbreastute a hazard.
It was only a matter of time before you resorted to personal attacks. That's what happens when you run out of intelligent things to say.
You are happy to have a little slice of the road marked for you exclusive use. Many bicyclists don't want to be confined to such space.
You don't know anything about my behavior.
There is no such thing as an automobile lane. I've never seen the symbol. However, when a bicyclist containment lane is place, one can argue that a caste system has been created where none previously existed, the remaineder of the road is then defacto "automobile lanes," and bicyclists' space is reduced. You may like that, but I suppose you are not a Rosa Parks of bicycling advocacy.
