speedbumps... 1323

Yup I still have the Cinquecento - it just really peees me off that I cant have a comfortable journey in the precint without bashing the cars suspension to bits and constantly changing gears. This council (and most others I buttume) have blanket policy of speed bumps and probably havent considered other measures of speed reduction 1. Not only that but these bumps will require maintainence after winter is over - the contractor is laughing all the way to the bank. So who will compensate me for the extra wear and tear on my car? No-one I bet. If you want to start a thriving business now then I suggest a kwik-fit style gararge to change suspension-steering components - youl;l make a fortune around here!

1 There is a reduction measure which consists of a wide road-width strip of "goo" which has a consistency as that of custard. Go over the strip slowly and the goo moves away from under your tyres to the side and lets you drive over level with the road surface. Drive over it too fast and cant move away from your tyres fast enough so your wheel hits the "bump".
